Backyard Wood-Fired Oven Plans

Sale Price: $19.99 Original Price: $24.99

What if I told you that in just a few short hours from now, you could be enjoying the experience of a wood-fired oven right in your own back yard!

Capable of reaching over 900 degrees F ( ~500C), this oven can bake anything far beyond just pizza and is a welcome addition to any backyard.

Watch how it will create community out of thin air!

If you saw my viral video on Instagram sharing the story of this oven, you might be eager to get started.

There are many ovens out there that look similar, but I guarantee this one outperforms them all!

Why? Structural and material upgrades that the competition lack. I actually started off by purchasing access to the plans of a competitor but ditched them when I realized improvements were needed to meet my baking specifications.

What is included?

These plans include a supplies list and very simple LEGO/IKEA style instructions.

My formal education and early training was in architecture, though I am no longer in that line of work.

I recreated my real oven brick for brick using the same 3D software I used to redesign kitchens like yours!

If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I want to save anyone who attempts this build the trial and error it took me and shortcut your path to a pizza victory.

What is not included?

These plans do not include any materials!

You are responsible for sourcing the materials necessary, but once you do, this should come together within 2 hours.

I can only recommend the materials I used, but substitutions may be made at your discretion.

This plan does not include fantastic dough to bake, you are also responsible for what goes in the oven. I used this technique to bake in the oven with superb results.

Tips for Success

-Prices of supplies will vary by region!

-Check with your hardware store or masonry supplier to make sure they have everything. I didn’t and wound up taking 6 trips to 3 stores. I am saving you the time and frustration I endured…

-Start with a level base! Unlike that last relationship, don’t build this oven on a weak foundation.

-Some pieces (brick, steel) may need to be cut to length. Use proper tools to do so or have someone capable do it for you.

-It may not be a bad idea to get additional bricks (6-8) to make a door to retain heat (as seen in some pictures).

-Use protection when necessary! My lawyer as well as your mom said we don’t need any accidents.

-Ask for help! This might be a two, three, or seven person job. If you need help, just holler, “Pizza!!” Someone will come running over looking for a slice.
